Once Night Falls
Roland Merullo
This book is so good that I had to finish it in one day. Many characters stories are weaved together in short chapters. It takes just a small time frame of WW2 in Italy to base it's story and leaves you wondering if there could be a sequel.

I enjoyed this book. It was quirky and though I knew the twist early on, it was enjoyable and I will be reading the next!

The Rise And Fall Of The Dinosaurs
Steve Brusatte
Written in language accessible for anyone with a basic background in any science, the stories and personal experiences of the author brings to life the developments of the last few decades in paleontology. The dates on many of these discoveries or scientific consensus made me realize I must have been taught with outdated books as a child.
